Ben Wacker, FSA, MAAA
Ben graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and has spent time at a few different companies. He currently works at Ability Re in Bermuda. In his 7 years in the industry, Ben has worked in pricing, product development, long-term financial projections, regulatory asset adequacy analysis, internal risk analysis, open and closed block reinsurance, GAAP valuation, and corporate modeling. Ben decided to join ACE in 2006 after getting a 10 on course 8i.
Jacob McCoy, FSA, MAAA
Jacob graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and has spent time at a few different companies, but has spent most of his career at the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, IA. In his 8 years in the industry, Jacob has worked in product development and pricing. After finishing exams in 2005, Jacob "missed" exams so much that he decided to write a study manual and teach a seminar. Jacob also got a 10 on course 8i.
Toby White, FSA, PhD, CFA
Toby has worked in the insurance industry and actuarial education for over 15 years. He held positions at Lincoln Financial Group and Tillinghast/Towsers before going back to school to get his PhD. Currently, Toby is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Actuarial Science at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He has been conducting review seminars for actuarial exams since 1995. Toby joined ACE in 2009 and currently authors review materials for the SOA MFE/ CAS 3F.
